Men's Soccer and Volleyball each Announce a Schedule Change for 2019

SALEM, Ore. -- Two changes have been made to Willamette University fall sports schedules for the 2019 athletic season. One game has been rescheduled for the men's soccer team, and one match has been removed from the volleyball schedule.
In men's soccer, the Bearcats will take on Corban University in a regular season game at Sparks Field on Saturday, Sept. 6 at 7 p.m. (PDT). The game was originally scheduled for Friday, Aug. 30. Willamette's volleyball match with Multnomah University on Wednesday, Sept. 11 has been canceled.
The Willamette volleyball, men's soccer and women's soccer teams will all open the regular season this weekend.
Bearcat volleyball players will compete at the Oregon Trail Classic, hosted by Pacific University on Friday, Aug. 30 and by George Fox University on Saturday, Aug. 31. WU will take on Central College (Iowa) at 12 p.m. (PDT) and Hamline University (Minn.) at 5 p.m. on Friday, and will battle University of St. thomas (Minn.) at 10 a.m. and John Carroll University (Ohio) at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
The men's soccer team will take on Travel to San Antonio, Texas, to take on Howard Payne University (Texas) on Saturday, Aug. 31 at 6 p.m. (CDT)/4 p.m. (PDT) and compete against Trinity University (Texas) on Sunday, Sept. 1 at 7 p.m. (CDT)/5 p.m. (PDT). Both games will be played on Trinity's campus.
Willamette will host Corban University in women's soccer on Friday, Aug. 30 at Sparks Field. Game time is set for 7 p.m (PDT).
