Willamette Baseball Series at Redlands is Canceled
SALEM, Ore. -- Due to COVID-19 health and safety protocols, the non-conference baseball series between Willamette University and the University of Redlands scheduled for Fri., Feb. 11 through Sunday, Feb. 13, has been canceled. The games will not be rescheduled. Willamette and Redlands were originally going to play the series in Redlands, California, with one game on Friday, two games on Saturday, and one game on Sunday.
Willamette, Redlands, the Northwest Conference, and the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference are committed to the health and safety of student-athletes. The conference and its members continue to monitor and work within local, state, federal, and NCAA health directives.
The next scheduled games for the Willamette baseball team are in a doubleheader against George Fox University on Saturday, Feb. 19 to open NWC action. The first game is slated to begin at 11 a.m. (PST).
