Baseball Series with Whitman will Start on Sunday, May 5 at Linfield

SALEM, Ore. -- The Willamette University baseball series with Northwest Conference opponent Whitman College, originally scheduled for Saturday, May 4 and Sunday, May 5 at John Lewis Field, has been rescheduled. The series will begin on Sunday, May 5 at Roy Helser Field on the Linfield University campus in McMinnville, Oregon, starting at 1 p.m PDT. The Bearcats and the Blues will play one or two games in McMinnville on Sunday.

Willamette and Whitman hope to complete the series on Monday, May 6 at John Lewis Field. If weather makes the field unplayable, the teams will play at Volcanoes Stadium in Keizer, Oregon, on Monday. The start time has not yet been determined, but action will not begin any later than 11 a.m. PDT.
