Basketball Team Honored for Academic Excellence, Players Earn Individual Honors

Salem, Ore. - The Willamette University Men's Basketball team earned a 2024-25 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Team Academic Excellence Award, while student-athletes Dylan Green, Ryder Hsiung, and Darrin Lum were chosen as individual members of the  NABC Honors Court for the 2024-25 season for their success in the classroom. 

The NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards recognize programs that completed the 2024-25 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. The NABC Honors Court, meanwhile, includes junior, senior, and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2024-25 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher. Every Honors Court athlete was at their current college or university for at least one full year.
