Men's Golf sits at 25th in DIII Coaches Poll
NORMAN, Okla. — The Willamette University men's golf team is ranked 25th in the latest Bushnell/Golfweek Division III Coaches Poll. The Bearcats received 58 points to secure their spot in the top 25, maintaining the same rank from the preseason poll.
The Bearcats are ranked just behind conference foe Whitman College, which debuts at the 24th spot with 62 points.
Sewanee claimed the top spot in the poll with 351 points and seven first-place votes after winning the Gate City Invitational. Carnegie Mellon, Washington and Lee, Oglethorpe, and Huntingdon rounded out the top five.
The Bearcats travel to St. Cloud, Minnesota this weekend to participate in the Saint John's Invitational.
