Men’s Golf Maintains Top-15 Rank
SALEM, Ore. – The Willamette University men's golf team continues to be recognized as one of the premier programs in the country, earning the No. 15 spot in the latest Bushnell/Golfweek Division III Coaches Poll released on Friday.
Following a competitive start to the spring season across the Division III landscape, the Bearcats collected 166 points from the national voting committee. This ranking keeps Willamette firmly entrenched in the top 20 nationally, trailing No. 14 Gustavus Adolphus by only ten points and holding a narrow lead over No. 16 Kenyon.
The top of the poll remained steady as Huntingdon (Ala.) retained the No. 1 ranking after a dominant 24-stroke victory at the Savannah Invitational earlier this week. Other West Region and Northwest Conference rivals also made appearances in the rankings, including No. 11 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps and No. 21 Whitman.
The Bearcats have demonstrated consistent excellence over the 2025-26 campaign, and this latest ranking serves as a testament to the program's depth and competitive schedule.
Willamette will look to build on this momentum as they head into a crucial stretch of spring tournaments leading up to the Northwest Conference Championships. The next Bushnell/Golfweek DIII Coaches Poll is scheduled to be released on March 27.
