Bearcats fall to Whitman

SALEM, Ore. — Willamette narrowly fell to Whitman College in their latest meet, with notable performances that included Jan Beck's first-place finish in the 1650-yard freestyle with a time of 17:07.49. Kevin Olmedo also secured a victory in the 50-yard freestyle, clocking in at 22.94.
Kevin Olmedo contributed to the victorious 200-yard medley relay team and secured second place in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 50.35. Trai Xiong claimed the top spot in the 400-yard individual medley, finishing in 4:23.58, and was part of the winning 200-yard medley relay team. Ka'olapa Masuko played a key role in the first-place 200-yard medley relay and finished fourth in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 23.43.
