Bearcats beat Pacific
Kevin Olmedo wins both the 50 free and 100 free in 122-29 win.
SALEM, Ore. — Willamette University secured a series of top finishes against Pacific University, highlighted by Kevin Olmedo's first-place efforts in both the 50-yard and 100-yard freestyle events. Colin Duran also contributed significantly, claiming victory in the 200-yard IM and playing a key role in the winning 400-yard medley relay.
Olmedo excelled in the competition, securing first place in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 23.13 and again leading the field in the 100-yard freestyle at 51.46. He also contributed to the team's success in the 400-yard freestyle relay, which finished first with a time of 3:26.18. Duran performed strongly, capturing first place in the 200-yard individual medley in 2:13.68 and contributing to the winning effort in the 400-yard medley relay, which clocked in at 3:54.12. Ka'olapa Masuko showed versatility, placing second in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:53.74 and participating in both the victorious medley and freestyle relays.
