Whitworth owned a 2-1 lead at the conclusion of doubles, but Willamette battled back to earn the win.
FOREST GROVE, ORE. -- Pacific University won a very close men's tennis match against Willamette University on Sunday, March 10, as the Boxers achieved a 5-4 victory at the Holce Tennis Courts. The Boxers upped their record to 3-5 overall, 3-4 in the Northwest Conference. Willamette, playing its third match in three days, slipped to 3-6 on the season, 3-4 in the NWC.
