During the second, the Bearcats' lone run came in the fourth inning, while Linfield secured its win with two runs in the fourth and an additional run in the fifth. Game #1 — Linfield 2, Willamette 0
The Bearcats managed just two hits, both singles, against Linfield's pitching, which recorded a complete game shutout with one strikeout. Linfield scored its first run in the third inning, and Willamette had limited opportunities to counter. Mia Atkins recorded a single in the fifth, but was left stranded as the inning concluded.
Linfield seized control in the sixth inning, capitalizing on a double by Cydney Hess to right center. A subsequent walk allowed Ashlyn Aven and pinch runner Brooklyn Sweatman to execute a double steal, putting runners at second and third. McKenna Parmelee then delivered a sacrifice fly to right field, scoring Sweatman and extending the lead to 2–0. Mckenzee Petersen managed a single down the left field line in the seventh, but the offense couldn't muster a rally to close the gap. Despite consistent contact, the team was unable to generate the needed offensive momentum, leaving runners on base during key situations.
Maya Filger completed a full six innings on the mound, allowing four hits and two earned runs while facing 24 batters. Petersen added one hit in her three at-bats, showing efficiency at the plate. Atkins also contributed with a hit in her two plate appearances, maintaining a 1.000 OPS. Desirae Hatfield was active defensively, recording three assists from the shortstop position.
Game #2 — Linfield 3, Willamette 1
The Bearcats' lone run came in the fourth inning, through a series of strategic plays. After Lauren Stube reached on a walk, Gretchen Clower advanced her to second with a sacrifice. Atkins then singled, moving Clower to third, where she scored on Maggie Fleischmann's sacrifice fly. In the seventh inning, Willamette mounted a final threat with Fleischmann singling and Jordan Cresswell reaching on a hit by pitch. However, the opportunity was thwarted as the Bearcats' lineup was unable to drive in another run, sealing the outcome.
Linfield capitalized on key defensive errors by Willamette in the fourth inning to shift the momentum and secure a decisive lead. Hess doubled to left field and scored when an error allowed Aven to reach base. Following this, Parmelee delivered an RBI single, bringing in Aven and putting Linfield ahead 2-1. These unearned runs were crucial in establishing a lead that the Bearcats could not overcome.
Petersen finished with two hits in her three at-bats, contributing effectively from the first base position. Stube collected a hit and drew a walk, maintaining an on-base percentage of 1.167 as the designated player. Fleischmann drove in a run with a sacrifice fly and added another hit, showcasing her ability to advance runners. Maddy Tuning completed a full game on the mound, recording 6 innings with 4 strikeouts and allowing 3 runs on 6 hits.
