Northwest Conference Changes 10,000-Meter Start Times

SALEM, ORE. -- The Northwest Conference has changed the starting times for the women's 10,000-meter run and the men's 10,000-meter run at the 2013 NWC Track and Field Championships, which will be hosted by Willamette University this weekend.

The two races will now be held at the end of the first day due to unseasonably warm weather expected during the original start times in the afternoon. The women's 10,000-meter run will begin at 7 p.m. (PDT) on Friday, April 26. The men's 10,000-meter run is scheduled to start at 7:50 p.m. All other events will be held at their original starting times.
