SALEM, ORE. -- Willamette University track and field athlete Jordan Loos (Sr., Springfield, OR/Thurston HS) has been selected to receive an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship. The award provides $7,500 toward graduate school tuition.
NEW ORLEANS, LA. -- The Willamette University men's and women's track and field teams have earned All-Academic status from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for the 2014 season.

DELAWARE, OHIO -- Meka Townsend (So., Okanogan, WA/Okanogan HS) earned 10th place in the women's javelin throw to lead four Willamette University athletes in action on Saturday, May 24 during the the last day of the 2014 NCAA Division III Track and Field Championships. The NCAA meet was held at Selby Stadium on the campus of Ohio Wesleyan University.

McMINNVILLE, ORE. -- Willamette University runner Yonny Castillo (So., Parkdale, OR/Hood River Valley) set a personal record and took second place in the men's 1,500-meter run at the Linfield Open on Saturday, May 10 at Maxwell Field. A select group of Bearcats competed in the meet.
EUGENE, ORE. -- As the NCAA Division III National Championships draw near, some of Willamette University's top track and field athletes will compete at the Oregon Twilight, at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore., on Friday, May 9.
EUGENE, ORE. -- Taylor Ostrander (So., Soldotna, AK/Kenai Central HS) from Willamette University set a personal record of 10:40.86 to place third in the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Oregon Twilight on Friday, May 9 at Hayward Field. Ostrander's time was the fastest by a Bearcat this season, as she moved into third on Willamette's all-time list.
SALEM, ORE. -- A total of 16 members of the Willamette University track and field teams have been named All-Northwest Conference for their efforts during the 2014 NWC Track and Field Championships on April 25-26 at the University of Puget Sound.
CORVALLIS, ORE. -- Willamette University track and field athletes Bekah Daniel (Sr., Jr. elig., Silverdale, WA/Central Kitsap HS) and Taylor Ottomano (Sr., Poulsbo, WA/North Kitsap HS) provided the Bearcats with strong efforts at the Oregon State University High Performance on Friday, May 2. Daniel competed in the long jump and triple jump, while Ottomano participated in the high jump.
