Floyd and Waldal Named Academic All-District in Women's Basketball
Emma Floyd and Elyse Waldal have been named to the Women's Basketball Academic All-District Team.
The Academic All-District teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
Players nominated for the CSC All-District Team must have competed in 90 percent or started in at least 66 percent of the institution's games while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
Waldal played in 24 of the Bearcat's 25 games, averaging 12.1 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. Floyd played in all 25 games and scored 3.8 points per game while pulling down an average of 2.6 rebounds.
