Seelig Shoots 87 in Round One, Finishes 35th at NWC Spring Classic

Walla Walla, Wash. - Saida Seelig shot an opening round 87 on her way to a 193 total at the NWC Spring Classic hosted by Whitman College.  Seelig's final score put her alone in 35th place overall in the individual competition.

After seven pars in round one, the course set up for round two proved more difficult for Seelig as she started her round with a quadruple bogey and two double bogeys.  She recovered nicely with a par on the fourth hole and finished the second round with a score of 96.  

The next match for Seelig will be the NWC Championship hosted by Linfield University.  The event is scheduled for Sunday, April 20th, and Monday, April 21st.
