SALEM, ORE. -- Willamette University senior rower Kate Pfeiffer (Redding, CA/University Preparatory School) has been selected to the All-Northwest Collegiate Rowing Conference Team (All-NCRC) for the 2012-13 season. Pfeiffer provided standout performances at stroke on the women's varsity 8+ and the women's varsity 4+.
LAKE STEVENS, WASH. -- Willamette University placed fifth in the women's varsity 4+ race at the 13th annual Northwest Collegiate Rowing Conference (NCRC) Championship Regatta on Saturday, May 4 at Lake Stevens. Humboldt State University won the WV4+ and two other events, but Western Washington University also won three events and claimed the NCRC women's team title.
LAKE STEVENS, WASH. -- The Willamette University rowing teams will compete at the Northwest Collegiate Rowing Conference (NCRC) Championship Regatta on Saturday, May 4 at Lake Stevens. LOWELL, ORE. -- Willamette University took third place in its heat of the women's collegiate novice 4+ at the Covered Bridge Regatta on Saturday, April 13 at Dexter Lake. The Bearcats also competed in the women's collegiate varsity 8+ and the men's collegiate varsity 4+ events.
VANCOUVER, WASH. -- Willamette University finished in second place in the women's novice 4+ during the Northwest Collegiate Rowing Conference (NCRC) Invitational, held at Vancouver Lake on Saturday, April 6. The Bearcats also competed in the women's varsity 8+, men's varsity 4+ and men's second varsity 4+.
TACOMA, WASH. -- Willamette University rowers advanced to the Grand Final in the women's varsity 8+ at the Cascade Sprints, hosted by the University of Puget Sound on Saturday, March 30 at American Lake. The Bearcats also competed in the women's varsity 4+ and the men's varsity 4+.
TACOMA, ORE. -- The Willamette University rowing teams competed at the Governor's Cup Regatta on Saturday, March 16 at American Lake. University of Puget Sound, which hosted the regatta, took first place in the overall men's and women's team standings. In addition to Willamette and Puget Sound, Lewis & Clark College also participated.
SALEM, ORE. -- The Willamette University men's and women's rowing teams will begin the 2013 spring season when they travel north to Tacoma, Wash., this Saturday, March 16 and participate in the Governor's Cup Regatta hosted by the University of Puget Sound.
PORTLAND, ORE. -- Willamette University rowers launched shells in their first regatta of the 2012-13 season on Sunday, Oct. 28 at the Portland Fall Classic. The regatta, sponsored by the Rose City Rowing Club and the Station L Rowing Club, was held on the Willamette River in downtown Portland.
