Bearcats Sweep Pacific in Dominant Road Victory

FOREST GROVE, Ore. — Willamette University swept Pacific University (OR) 25-23, 25-11, 25-15 on Friday at the Stoller Center. The Bearcats' attack percentage of .241, led by 42 kills, powered the team to a decisive victory. The match saw the Bearcats capitalize on a strong second set, outscoring Pacific 25-11, to maintain momentum throughout the contest.

Katey Cramer led the Bearcats with 15 kills, contributing a total of 15 points. Leina Chu orchestrated the offense with 32 assists and added two kills on three attempts. Dream Takemoto anchored the defense by collecting 28 digs. Emalia Freitas excelled in serving, recording three aces and four kills with a hitting percentage of .364.

The Bearcats hold an overall record of 5-9 and a conference record of 3-4 in the Northwest Conference. Pacific has an overall record of 4-9 and stands at 1-7 in Northwest Conference play.
