SALEM, Ore. — Willamette University swept Whitman College 25-12, 25-21, 25-23 on Saturday at Cone Field House. The Bearcats' attack was led by 47 kills with a hitting percentage of .242. On defense, they recorded 67 digs. The victory was secured in three straight sets, demonstrating consistent performance throughout the match.
Leina Chu led the team in assists with 38 while also contributing 11 digs and two blocks. Lexie Scott recorded a team-high 16 points, landing 16 kills on 44 attempts. Caroline Jameson added 12 kills and one block, finishing with 12.5 points. Dream Takemoto excelled defensively, collecting 22 digs across the matches.
