Is in her senior season as one of the top runners in NCAA Division III ... Earned All-America honors during the 2013 season by placing eighth at the NCAA Cross Country Championships ... Won the Northwest Conference individual championship in 2013, while leading the Bearcats to the women's team title ... Won the West Regional title as well, helping Willamette finished in second place with an automatic team berth into the NCAA Championships ... First Team All-NWC and All-West Region three times each ... As a freshman in 2011, she placed fifth in the NWC, ninth in the West Region and competed at the NCAA Championships ... SALEM, ORE. -- Two Willamette University runners have been selected First Team Capital One Academic All-District VIII in women's track and field and cross country as chosen by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Willamette's selections are Michaela Freeby (Sr., Milwaukie, OR/Rex Putnam HS) and Taylor Ostrander (Jr., Kenai, AK/Kenai Central HS).

All six runners competed for the Bearcats at the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships.
MASON, OHIO -- Willamette University's women's cross country team concluded an outstanding season on Saturday, Nov. 22, achieving a 15th place team finish at the 2014 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships, hosted by Wilmington College at the King's Island Golf Center.
